United Nations Global Family Day
This project required balancing universal visual communication with cultural sensitivity, as the materials were distributed internationally and used by governments, NGOs, and community organizations. I developed a visual strategy that reinforced the UN’s message of family, unity, and social responsibility, while ensuring the design was aesthetically appealing, educational, and easy to apply across diverse cultural contexts. The result was a graphic identity that communicated the UN’s values in a clear, engaging, and visually compelling way.
Task
I developed branding and communication materials for International Family Day, a global initiative celebrated annually on May 15 to highlight the family’s role as a foundational social unit. My work included art direction, illustration, and graphic design for merchandise such as T-shirts, brochures, logos, and balloons.
