Kyalami F1 Experiences

During the second half of 2024, I worked in Johannesburg developing F1-related experiences and media platforms in collaboration with South Africa’s leading Formula One commentator and the Kyalami Racetrack. The assignment included creating a full new branding suite—logo, visual identity, website—and building reporting models to measure and visualize media reach and traffic generated by Kyalami’s channels through F1 watch parties, live events, and media appearances.

Task

The work included designing and producing pitch decks for major national Formula One initiatives, aiming to attract partnerships and position South Africa as an emerging hub in international motorsport. This included material for events featuring F1 profile David Coulthard, who conducted a public demonstration run in Johannesburg, organized together with the South African government's initiative to strengthen Formula One as a national sport and re-establish South Africa, Johannesburg, and Kyalami on the global racing map.
